Terms & Conditions

Acceptance of Terms

By registering for or using the Jingles Pet Club ("JPC") app, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Membership & Eligibility

Membership is open to individuals aged 18 years and above. Each person may only hold one (1) JPC account. Jingles Pet Foods Sdn. Bhd. reserves the right to verify membership details and reject or cancel any membership at its discretion.

Points & Rewards

JPC Points are earned on qualifying purchases at Jingles Pet outlets and the online store (shop.jinglespet.com). Points hold no cash value and cannot be transferred, exchanged, or refunded. Points expire 12 months from the date of last transaction if no account activity is recorded.

Promotions & Vouchers

Promotions, vouchers, and redeemable items are subject to availability and validity periods. They are non-transferable, non-refundable, and limited to one per transaction unless otherwise stated. Jingles Pet Foods Sdn. Bhd. reserves the right to modify or withdraw any promotion at any time.

Account Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. Any activity conducted under your account is your sole responsibility. Please report any unauthorised access immediately to our support team.

Acceptable Use

Members must not:

  • Attempt to fraudulently accumulate or redeem points
  • Abuse referral or promotional programmes
  • Use automated tools or bots to interact with the app
  • Submit false reviews or misleading information
  • Engage in any activity that disrupts or damages the JPC platform

Modification of Terms

Jingles Pet Foods Sdn. Bhd. may update these Terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. Members will be notified of material changes via the app or email.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any membership without prior notice in cases of fraud, abuse, or violation of these Terms. All accumulated points will be forfeited upon termination.

Limitation of Liability

The JPC app is provided on an "as-is" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Jingles Pet Foods Sdn. Bhd. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from the use of, or inability to use, the app.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.

Privacy Policy

What We Collect

We collect the following information when you register and use the JPC app:

  • Personal details: full name, email address, phone number
  • Pet information: pet name(s), species, and breed
  • Transaction data: purchase history, points balance, redemptions
  • Device data: device type, OS version, app usage logs
  • Location data (only when using the branch finder feature)

How We Use Your Data

Your personal data is used to:

  • Operate and manage the JPC loyalty programme
  • Send personalised offers, promotions, and app notifications
  • Process point redemptions and transactions
  • Provide customer support and resolve disputes
  • Improve app features and user experience
  • Comply with applicable legal and regulatory obligations

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. Your data may be shared only with trusted service providers (such as Firebase by Google and payment gateway processors) who assist us in operating the app. All third-party providers are bound by strict confidentiality obligations and may not use your data for their own purposes.

Data Retention

Your personal data is retained for the duration of your active membership. Upon account closure, your data will be retained for a further period of up to 24 months unless a longer retention period is required by applicable law.

Your Rights

Under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA) of Malaysia, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request corrections to any inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time
  • Request deletion of your account and associated personal data

Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal data, including Firebase encryption, secure HTTPS transmission, and role-based access controls. While we take all reasonable precautions, no system is completely immune to security risks.

Analytics

We use anonymised, aggregated analytics data to understand how the app is used and to improve the overall user experience. This data cannot be used to identify you individually and is never shared with advertising networks.

Children's Privacy

The JPC app is intended for users aged 18 years and above. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a minor has submitted personal data through our platform, please contact us immediately so we can take appropriate action.

Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. The latest version will always be available at legal.jinglespet.com. Continued use of the app after any updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.

Governing Law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA) of Malaysia. Any disputes relating to this policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
